I work with individuals, couples, and families navigating strained relationship dynamics. You may notice patterns of stress or conflict showing up in your relationships, but nothing you’ve tried has worked and you’re out of ideas for how to break the cycle. I believe relational patterns aren’t arbitrary – we need to honor that most were the safest option at some point in our lives. As we unpack these patterns together, we keep a foot in the past and a foot in the present, holding compassion for where you came from while also reclaiming your agency and working toward the change you are seeking. I approach our work with cultural responsiveness and offer an affirming space for LGBTQIA+ clients.

I support clients who find themselves overfunctioning or struggle with perfectionism. Both are strategies for coping with anxiety that give the perception of having it all together on the outside, yet my clients often describe feeling overwhelmed and constricted on the inside. I'm especially drawn to working with people who identify as highly sensitive (HSPs) or relate to the trait of sensory processing sensitivity. When working with couples and families, I'm passionate about helping those who want to stop having the same argument on repeat.

I am currently a graduate student at Seattle University pursuing a Master’s in Couples and Family Therapy and practicing under the license and supervision of Merrill Shattuck, LMHC. Prior to graduate school, I had a career in corporate marketing and advertising, where I experienced firsthand the challenges of perfectionism and overfunctioning I'm now drawn to treating. My approach is rooted in family systems and experiential therapy, and I often integrate somatic approaches as well. Together we'll look at where your patterns originated and then we’ll work with them live in session - because change comes not just from talking about something, but from truly experiencing something different.
